2 free summer camps offered -- one for youth, one for moms

The camps, focused on aspects of football, are set for July at Airport

The University of Mississippi: Summer College Program

The Office of Summer College Program is offering the Exploring Arts Track. The Exploring Arts track is open to all students who are rising juniors and seniors. The students who meet the requirements can apply for a scholarship base on merit or need. Suppose you have students that have a passion for music, art, drama, and film production

Applicants must complete the application as a "non-degree seeking student" attending for the "Full Summer 2022-2023" term.

If the application fee will cause undue hardship for your family or you are unable to pay due to financial need, please have your school counselor complete the NACAC application fee waiver on your behalf.

EOC Tutoring Program

EOC Tutoring Program-Columbia Urban League

I am pleased to announce that we have launched our first Tutoring Initiative through our Equity and Excellence in Education Program. We are helping 9th and 11th graders prepare for the End of Course Exams. I am attaching the flyer with more information about the dates, times, and where to sign-up.

We are planning to start tutoring sessions this upcoming Friday however, there will be other opportunities for students to attend.

More information about additional tutoring initiatives for all grades, including our summer academic enrichment program are forthcoming!

Public hearing on 2023-2024 general fund budget set for June 15
