Bright Ideas Grant Winner Deborah Hightower and Margaret Martin are the winners of a Bright Ideas Grant. This is a grant sponsored by Mid Carolina Cooperative. The grant is for $700. Mrs Hightower is a teacher at Airport High School and Mrs Martin is her Teacher Assistant.

Free or Reduced Lunch applications are due by September 29, 2018. As a reminder a student's eligibility status from last year carries over to the 1st 30 days of the new school year. This allows for plenty of time to process applications, without incurring charges. Please make sure you have completed an new application for the 2018-2019 school year on-line, or you can get a paper copy at any school. Any student that does not have a new application submitted by the deadline will go to full pay on September 30, 2018.
