Airport High teacher wins $1,500 PSTA scholarship

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- An Airport High School teacher is the winner of a $1,500 scholarship from the Palmetto State Teachers Association's Foundation for Professional Development.
 
Bridgett Wolfe is one of five winners of the Dr. Elizabeth Gressette Professional Development Scholarship. The annual award supports Palmetto State Teachers Association members in their pursuit of advance degrees. 
 
Wolfe, a teacher in the CATE program at Airport, is pursuing a doctorate in education at the University of South Carolina in curriculum and instruction. She will be recognized at the association's convention in April.
 
The Palmetto State Teachers Association is South Carolina's largest professional education association for educators.
