Scholarship Opportunity (Deadline February 10, 2012)

South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers’ Foundation (SCLEOF) will award $9,000 in Scholarships in 2012 to graduating high school seniors who will be continuing their education in South Carolina.  The SCLEOF is the training and educational subsidiary of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers’ Association (SCLEOA), South Carolina’s oldest and largest law enforcement association.  SCLEOA has been the Voice of Law Enforcement  in South Carolina since 1941. Today, nearly 8,000 officers, representing every rank in municipal, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies, comprise the membership of our association.

The SCLEOF will award one $5,000 scholarship and two $2,000 scholarships.  One of the $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to the child of an SCLEOA member.

To be considered, a completed application (including transcript and 1000-word essay) must be received by the SCLEOF no later than February 10, 2012.
