Newberry College Forensic Events

  Newberry College's Forensics program is offering three events this year for students who are interested in the field of forensics. The dates are:

CSI Night, Thursday, November 10 from 7-9pm in Wiles Chapel
Participants will view an episode of CSI and discuss it with guest forensic lecturer and Newberry alum, SLED Arson Investigator Lt. Bobby Shealy.

CSI Night, Thursday, February 9 from 7-9pm in Wiles Chapel
Participants will view an episode of CSI and discuss it with a guest forensic lecturer.

Forensic Chemistry Day, Saturday, April 14 from 10am-4pm
Participants will learn how forensic investigations are conducted in Newberry's dedicated crime scene house. They will process a simulated crime scene, learning how to identify, photograph and collect evidence. Finally, students will put it all together and solve the crime!
