Early College “3-Year Associate's Degree Cohort Program”
for Current 9th Graders
The goal of this Program is for these students to complete their Associate's Degree from Midlands Technical College before they graduate from high school. Eligible 9th grade students can take college courses through Midlands Technical College while attending high school. These courses can be counted toward high school and college credit.
Students who are accepted into this Program, will complete a specific sequence of 2 courses each semester including 2 courses during the summers after their 9th, 10th and 11th grade years, 2 courses each semester of their 10th and 11th grade years, and 3 courses each semester of their 12th grade year, for a total of 14 courses or 64 college credits.
It is recommended that Program participants have already completed ENG 1 HN and ALG 1 HN in middle school (though this is not a program requirement).
